Year 2 have started a new, exciting topic in science: plants! To learn about what plants needs to grow, Year 2 have set up an interesting investigation, asking the question 'do plants need light and water to grow?'. They planted beans in three pots, one which they have put in the light and will water weekly, one which will have no light (it's in the cupboard!) and one which will have no water. Each science lesson this half term, they will measure the height of the beanstalks (we are also reading 'Jack and the Beanstalk' in English) and compare. Year 2 are very excited to find out what will happen to all their plants.
