Secret Seven at the Storyhouse, Chester

Years 3 - 6 visited Storyhouse in Chester to watch "The Secret Seven".

Based on the beloved detective series, KS2 enjoyed a trip to see the world’s first ever stage show of Enid Blyton’s children’s classic The Secret Seven at Storyhouse Chester. We were not disappointed!.

From the start, the creativity in the set up of the stage captivated the children who soon realised that the performance was going to be going on all around them. Situated in "The Pit" (ie right at the front with our noses practically on the stage!) the children really felt part of the action. The storytelling was superb and the discussion on the bus on the way home was about who their favourite character was. Many children opted for the loveable Binky but in truth, they were all fantastic. The performances were truly fabulous and enthralled the all the children. It certainly put the children (and staff!) in the mood for Christmas. In the words of Enid Blyton - it was a jolly good show!
