NSPCC Danceathon

Dancing to raise money for the NSPCC

A recent fundraising event for the NSPCC involved the whole school and staff taking part in a dance-a-thon. The children took sponsors forms home to their friends and family and asked for loose change to dance the morning away at Avalon, all in the name of a good cause. A special thanks must go to the Year 6 girls who led the exhausting session with 3 choreographed continuous dances which the children loved. We were delighted to raise a wonderful £968.70 for this worthwhile cause. The KS1 and KS2 winning classes (the classes who raised the most money) were Reception and Year 4 (pictured) Well done to all those who supported this event!
