Spring concert

The Spring term culminated in a performing arts concert for parents and invited guests.

The whole school gathered together to put on a wonderful concert for parents and invited guests from a local care home - The Old Garden in Hoylake. The theme of our concert, alongside our class assemblies, was of Wellbeing.

The whole school performed a wonderful rendition of "Heal The World" before there were individual performances on the trumpet, the piano and even a harp. There were poetry recitals from the children who take part in preparation for the LAMDA examinations. Whilst OS (in Year 6) played "Entry of the Gladiators" by Julius Fucik, the children performed gymnastic and dance routines, much to the delight of the audience.

The afternoon concluded with a performance of "Bob Marley's "Don't Worry, Be Happy"  and even the parents joined in!

It was a lovely way to end a very busy term.
