Fire Officer visit

Children from the nursery, pre-school, Reception and the infant classes had a fantastic time when they had a visit from a team of fire officers from Upton fire station. Ray and his team showed the excited children the fire engine and all the equipment. Great fun was had by all especially when the children were allowed to sit inside the fire engine and have a go at hitting a target with the fire hose! Ray also gave a talk on fire safety and explained what to do in case of a fire. “Get out and stay out” was the key message.
